The Accomodation Services team can help you arrange temporary accomodation before you arrive, as well as help you liaise with landlords and real estate agents in finding permanent accomodation once you are here.
Living Costs
Surabaya is an affordable city but you still need to plan and budget carefully. Excluding tuition fees, you will typically need IDR 19,200,000 a year to live comfortably. Below is an example of a person’s establishment costs and ongoing weekly expenses based on one person-bedroom unit, which is the most popular accomodation for international students at UHT.

UHT Location
Arief Rahman Hakim campus
AR Hakim campus is the main campus of UHT, situated near Suramadu Bridge which connecting East Java with Madura Island. Public transport, accomodation, shopping and dining options are all within walking distance.

Gadung campus
Gadung campus is located in the city centre of Surabaya, within the area of Dr. Ramelan Navy Hospital. As Educational Hospital for UHT Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Ramelan Navy Hospital provides the UHT students with access to laboratories and clinical practice facilities.
Students can easily walk to the Royal Plaza, a shopping mall located 200metres away from Gadung campus.
